Netbox brand was established in 1998 and in its 20th year of existence it is undergoing a major rebranding. The netbox brand brings a vast space beyond the frontiers of everyday reality. It is not afraid of boldly going where no one has gone before and getting the best of the strange new worlds for its clients. This brand will launch you into the unlimited space. In all directions.
“Like the limitless space we also bring limitless possibilities of information, education and fun be it through high-quality internet connection or Kuki internet television. The portfolio of our services is expanding and the concept of space is becoming a unifying element. With us, people can discover new dimensions of entertainment. We are playful, we love fun and this is why this concept won,” explains Lukáš Pazourek, nebox marketing director.

Imagine a place that is a certainty in the unknown. A place where everything is possible. A place where you can spend your leisure time, have fun and relax. A place you can call your home.

Colours
We chose blue-violet as the basic colour evoking space and a rich orange representing warmth and light. These two colours are complemented by another six colours to complete the cosmic impression. The colours are used in illustrations, photos and typography.



Typography
The selected typography is simple, playful and full of rounded shapes. We would hardly find anything angular in space. We have been using Franz Sans for some time so we sent the previous Museo type on a long holiday. For this brand we chose three basic typefaces.



Illustrations
The illustrations capture funny situations in which the clients can find themselves on the netbox planet. Classic everyday situations are given a cosmic dimension. The illustrations are present in the entire offline and online communication making it original.








Logo
It all started by redesigning the logo. Earlier, there was a snail representing three services. Later, there was a balloon representing entertainment. With an expansion of services and the growing demand netbox is now playing on a larger playground creating a new world – its own space. This is where the new icon, the planet, comes into the picture. We stepped out of the grey crowd and chose a confident violet as the new colour for the logo. It is a cosmic violet.

Rewarding
New communication should speak to the outside but also to the company staff. This is why we advised the netbox team: “Create your own ecosystem where you will be happy to work. Reward each other. Appreciate well done work but, at the same time, don’t take yourselves too seriously. Whenever it is appropriate, make fun of yourselves.” We created a system of rewards for their internal use. They can be serious or formal, it is up to them and their imagination.

Application
Branding is only the beginning. We think of the future and this is why we prepared basic applications for netbox planet offline and online environment. Let us see how netbox will present itself in both directions, in and out.














Social media
The new communication includes social media administration. Our online team didn’t waste any time and created a new concept and content strategies for Facebook and Instagram. The communication is meant to be informal, funny and, most of all, cosmic. We want to drag fans into a discussion as much as we can. We are preparing some more technology tricks for social media.
